When I first saw this, I'll admit I did not pay attention to the title. I saw a stunning image and clicked on it. When I got here, I was struck by how simple and yet incredibly emotional this picture is. I like it, without a doubt but it hurts to look at it as well. Please understand, it is not from anything you have done wrong but from everything you have done right. So much grief and pain in such a pose...I want to soothe the ache but have the feeling that it is one that I can do nothing about. One impression is of an angel either thrown or fallen from grace...probably not the best way to put it. The white around your waist reminds me of lost wings and that is the best way (at this moment) I can put that kind of ache and loss into words.
